To be Human

All at once

I have dissappeared.

Humanity has gone

far, far from me.

Machine in a shell of flesh.

I will not bleed;

Fuled by make believe gasoline.

For your tears I have no need.

Crystals of ice

and shards of cold steel,

break me down

and build me once again.

Form me, mold me.

Make me, break me.

Twisted masses of noise,

Forever present,

as patterns of thought

fall like puzzle pieces

to the dirt at my feet.

Standards replaced;

Menacing minds I face.

The perfect time

for me to change my mind.

I reach for strength.

I used to reach for you.

No longer can I be

societies vision...

...To be human.

Devil In My mind

Hands clenched tight,

From the cold in the night.

Smoke trails away,

From cigarettes, ash gray.

You stare with contempt,

At the life I have spent.

I lash out at you.

My anger rips through.

I am gone.

I am blind.

Devil in my mind.

I am stronger.

Now I find,

The Devil...

In my mind.

THE BEAST

As the Beast cried out,

It took the sky.

The demons raced,

Into my eyes.

All i see,

And all I hear,

Is the Beast...

...Fast...

Approaching near.

Nowhere to run.

Nowhere to hide.

Consuming me,

Is the beast inside.

I have been many things to many different people. A son, a father, a brother, a husband and now ex-husband, a friend, a musician, a soldier, a semi-pro fighter, a lover, at times a big disappointment and at other times, a true inspiration. I am inspired by the events of my life, a desire to explore myself and to become a whole person after all the difficulties that life has thrown at me. Learning that, although my scars may never fully heal, through understanding, and taking the time to appreciate my own self worth, I can minimize the damage. My existence is dedicated to my children who are a true inspiration and a constant reminder of the miracle of life.

I am very laid back and easy going. I'm in good shape, strong and dependable, responsible for my own actions and a very hard worker. I place high value on family and friends, and anyone who knows me well would tell you that I tend to give the shirt off my back. I am confident, well mannered, sincere. I have my humorous side as well as a serious nature. Sometimes I can be a real mean son of a bitch. On my other side…I am a very gentle, caring, intelligent and sensual man. Whether I am partying or relaxing, I always want to maintain a feeling of harmony between me and the people I care about. Despite occasional setbacks in matters of love, I rarely get down for long .I enjoy a modest social life and prefer to surround myself with good people that I know and trust.

If I can offer anything to you...my friends...is to ask you to remember this...Life not only consists of the breaths we take, but more so, the moments that take our breath away.
